Recently, alot of the great entertainment staff from Theme Parks, such as Thorpe Park, Chessington and Legoland have been posting about having new jobs overseas or at holiday resorts in the UK, which makes you wonder, why are they not coming back to the Merlin Theme Parks?
It has been seen recently that Merlin made a loss last year and are now making cut backs for the 2025 season, which is showing a large impact on the entertainment teams across their sites.
Infact a member of staff posted on TikTok that the team have been let go at Legoland and the Pirates and other shows will not be returning.
Even at Thorpe Park, a member of staff has confirmed an email was sent by their management team being very apologetic.
This highly likely will mean we won’t see events such as Mardi Gras and Oktoberfest returning for the 2025 season.
So far, there is a further sign that there is likely to be no events as the individual parks don’t even have any event information posted on their websites which normally they would have by now.
Hopefully we won’t see too much impact on their end of season events such as Fright Nights and Scarefest, but the way things seem at the moment I fear for these events aswell.
