I recently took a trip to Woburn Safari Park for the first time to check it out, especially now that I can drive and you need to be able to drive or have someone who can drive to visit.

Woburn Safari Park is located just outside of Milton Keynes and makes for a great day out.

When you first arrive, if you haven’t already purchased your tickets, you can do so at the entrance, subject to availability. They do recommend that you pre-book to avoid any disappointment.

You can then either start the car section straight away, or head to the main visitors area to walk around it’s up to you.

During my visit I started off with the car safari section, going through all the different animals and of course there is plenty of gates to go through to get to them. You can also drive through the monkey section if you wish (or you can by-pass it if you don’t want to risk them going near your car). Luckily the monkeys didn’t seem interested in going near any of the car’s during my visit possibly with how hot it was!

There was plenty to still see while I was visiting despite the heat which was good although sometimes you might not spot the animals straight away.

When you have driving around you then arrive at the main visitors’ area, which has a restaurant that has resonability priced food along with walking area’s to see even more animals along with a relaxing train that will also take you around some parts.

While I was there you actually were able to drive around the driven safari part as much as you want which is nice, so you aren’t restricted to just going around once so you do get your money worth.

Throughout the day as well, they do different animal talks so they aren’t to be missed.

Overall, I do recommend a visit to Woburn Safari Park for a fun and interesting day out, and I hope you are lucky like I was and the monkeys stay away from your car!
